Day 1 : Delhi to Dehradun

All trekkers gather at Kashmiri Gate in Delhi from where we board an AC sleeper/ Semi-Sleeper Volvo bus and travel overnight to Dehradun, reaching early in the morning around 5-6AM. From there Trekkers must report at Prince Chowk, Dehradun, at 7A.M. Please note: The travel cost from Dehradun to Prince Chowk is not included in the Package)

Day 2 : Dehradun to Sankri

All trekkers gather at Prince Chowk in Dehradun around 6:30am to 7:30am from here we begin our drive to Sankri at 8am, base village for Kedarkantha trek located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India, within the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in the Uttarkashi. During drive duration we provide you the 2 stops for Breakfast & Lunch. The route offers a peaceful ride through Vikas nagar route which is covered by pine forests, villages, and alongside tons of rivers. 700m before the base location we witness the Sankri market is a small but vibrant marketplace in the Himalayan village of Sankri, which offers essential items for trekkers, including trekking gear rentals, warm winter wear, and souvenirs, along with a glimpse into the local culture and access to diverse wildlife. From Sankri we witness the glory of Swargrohini 1 peak and we will stay overnight here in our homestays spending time with locals having local cuisine with them and while listening to their thrilling mountain stories. After dinner, our trek leader will give a short briefing about the trek.

Day 3 : Sankri to Juda ka Talab

Mark today as our first day of trekking. After breakfast around 10am to 11am, we begin our 4km trek. Within 300m from your homestay its a permit check point, where your group photo will click and futher you start your trek. With the path being a gradual, well-marked trail winding through dense through dense pine and oak trees, gradually ascending to an altitude of 9,100 feet. After 1.5km trek your phone's network goes away and you will took rest here for 5 to 10 minutes on Dhabha. As we wonder what lies ahead, again after 1.5km we took rest on Dhabha around 5 to 10 minutes. Its a lush green forests if you going in october till november, you will witness the Himalayan wild Strawberry, Primroses & Gentians or if you going in december then you will start witness the snow after 1.5km of your trek. The trail offers a mix of gentle, prolonged ascents and a shorter, steep climb towards the end. we arrive around 2pm at Juda Ka Talab- a stunning lake that completely freezes during the winter season. Along the way we may spot mountain langurs, hares, and colorful birds like Himalayan Griffon, Blue Whistling Thrush, and Plum-headed Parakeet. We’ll spend the evening here, relaxing, chatting, singing, dancing. The temperature drops quite low after sunset, so we need to keep ourselves well-packed and warm. That’s how we end up our first day- under the blanket of stars. Pro tip: This is the best spot for snow fights with your group.

Day 4 : Juda ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp

Again after breakfast, The trail from Juda ka Talab to the Kedarkantha Base Camp is not characterized by a single, fixed route angle, rather, it is a gradual to steep ascent that covers about 4 kilometers. While the path can have steep stretches, especially in the latter part, it's not a consistently steep climb, and the overall terrain varies as you progress through forests and towards open clearings. The trails continue through thick forests, but gradually, after covering some distance, it opens up into a wide, expansive area where we begin to see clear views of snow capped mountains and here we get one point after 1.5km of trek to connect with our love ones over a call, we get network point here. As we get closer to the base camp, the majestic Himalayan peaks - Swargrohini 1 & 2, Bandarpoonch, Ranglana, and Kala Nag- come into view, showcasing their divine beauty. We reached to our kedarkantha base camp around 2 pm, After having lunch, From the Kedarkantha base camp area we can witness the birdwatchers can spot a variety of species including the colorful Himalayan Monal, the White-capped Water Redstart, the Blue Whistling Thrush, various warblers, flycatchers, and finches, you’ll be greeted by the songs of various bird species include the Himalayan Griffon, Common Redstart, Belted Kingfisher, and White-throated Laughingthrush, adding a unique layer to your adventure. It’s a truly magical experience for nature lovers. our evening is fully planned with group activities and games to help our body adjust comfortably to the higher altitude. Dinner will be served early tonight because tomorrow is our summit day and we are going to witness the true beauty of the summit we have to reach there early in the morning, for that we have to wake up early 2am in the morning. Day 5 : Basecamp to Summit and Back to Juda ka Talab

Today, it's our summit day, the most exciting and challenging day of our entire trek. Waking up very early in the morning, we began our climb to Kedarkantha summit around 3am in the dark. Why early? So that we can watch the sunrise from the summit which is the most rewarding part of the trek. That’s exactly why people do the Kedarkantha trek - to witness the most beautiful sunrise in the world. Our trek starts by switching on our torchlights. After 1.5km steep ascent we took rest on dhabha. In the torchlight all we can see is the fog, and everything around is silent. The silence is so deep that we can clearly hear the crunch of snow beneath our feet. Our excitement keeps building up. Expect cold temperatures, ranging from -5°C to -10°C, The forests turn golden with shades of yellow, brown, and red. Instead of snow, you trek through grassy meadows and rocky patches on your way to the top. The Kedarkantha peak still stands tall, calling you to take on the climb. And when you reach 12,500 ft the summit then you realized every step of your is worth it, the 360° views of the himalayas are crystal clear from Gangotri to Yamunotri to Swargrohini I, II & III , Bandarpunch I & II, Black Peak, with 13 Himalayan peaks all around glowing as if they’re basking in the sun, we visit the small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. We spend some time here, simply admiring the beauty, making memories by clicking pictures. Then we begin our descent back to base camp for lunch then you descend to the Juda ka Talab campsite. The trail is steep but manageable, with potential hazards such as sections of mud and black ice, particularly in winter. where we rest for the night once again . It’s a long day, but without a doubt, the most memorable and rewarding day of the entire trek

Day 6 : Hargaon to Sankri and Back to Dehradun

The final day of our Kedarkantha trek, Today we head back to Sankri from Juda ka Talab after 4km trek.The trail is generally well-marked and paved with stones, offering views of the Har Ki Dun valley and leading down to Sankri, a sense of nostalgia sets in. After 2 to 3 hours of trekking, we reached Sankri and from Sankri now it's time to return back to Dehradun. By late evening we are back in Dehradun. Once we arrive, it’s time for goodbyes - the trek has come to an end.
